After checking in to the boat MV Strønstad, we start out with biking to Henningsvær. This is one of the most famous places in Lofoten, it´s about 1,5 hours on the bike, 25 kilometres. Back on the ship the chef will prepare dinner with arctic delicacies.
After a decent breakfast and good stories around the table, we will pack some food and drinks and prepare for a hike. The goal for today is Festvågtid, we will use around 3 hours their and back again, and the lunch will be enjoyed on the top if the weather is good. After a hot shower back on the boat, we will eat dinner in a local restaurant in Henningsvær and finish off our day with a visit to Klatrekafeen/Trevarefabrikken.
We are back on our bikes, and going from Henningsvær to Stamsund, with a lunch on the way out in the beautiful nature. The full trip is about 63 kilometres, but we will have a low speed allowing us to enjoy the beautiful nature of Lofoten. In Stamsund we will have dinner, before we continue by boat to Ballstad.
We will bike today as well, first to Leknes, and then on to Uttakleiv. In total we will be on the bike for 40 kilometres today. If the weather allows us, we will park our bikes and go for a hike up the famous mountain Mannen. We will then go back to Ballstad, for a dinner in Himmel og havn. We will sail towards Nusfjord.
We are ready for a new day on the bike, from Nusfjord, to Ramberg and Fredavang. Today as well the bike will be around 40 kilometres in total, and we will have a guided tour in Nen, one of Norway’s best kept fishing villages. The dinner will be in Nusfjord before we at night will sail to Reine.
Now we have arrived in one of the treasures in Lofoten archipelago. We will bike from Reine to Å. Here we will have a stop at the dried fish museum in Sørvågen, before we return to Reine for lunch. After lunch we will bike to Sund to visit the smith. Today we will have a barbeque on the boat if the weather allows it, while we sail to Svolvær.
Over a nice breakfast, we will sum up the week and all the amazing things we have seen and experienced, before we are ready to say good bye for now.
