Today we know why, science has given us the explanation and can even help us predict when it will be showing. But still, there is something magical about seeing the northern lights on the sky, the colors and movement, and of course, as we in the north know to be true, the sound. The best way to experience the magical northern lights, aurora borealis is away from the lights of the city. There is no faster and better way to see and experience the northern lights, then by leaving the city center, by boat, on one of the best short cruises in Tromsø!
Sail out from Tromsø city center in the evening, with beautiful views of the city, mountains, Norwegian fjords and the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) with Arctic Expedition. The different locations we visit on these cruises provide different views of the sky with several possibilities of seeing the Northern Lights. We cruise in a high-class comfortable and very stable boat with space inside and outside.

Meet up by the boat in Tromsø City center, where we will check ahead where the best weather conditions are, to see the northern lights. Dress warm, you are in the arctic ocean, experiencing a winter night!
The boat used is determined by the number of people booked in the day itself. Leone and Strønstad boats have jacuzzi onboard that you can use and enjoy, just bring your swim wear (we provide you towels for free). In case you wish to use the jacuzzi, please email us forehand to firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know, so we can have it ready for you.

Keep in mind that the weather in the arctic can be rough some days. If you think you might get seasick, please bring sea-sickness medicine with you and take it half an hour before the trip starts.
