Are you ready for a cruise in the amazing winter fjords of Northern Norway? Wildlife, fishing, aquaculture, local villages, the weather and the elements in the Arctic as well as the Arctic landscape, and of course beautiful fjords. This is what is waiting for you. As an extra treat for you, from late October to mid-February some of the world’s biggest mammals visit the coast outside Tromsø to feed on herrings. The most common whale species we see are the humpback whale, killer whale (orca), harbor porpoise and sometimes even the fin whale. You are invited to come on board to take a close-up look at the feast, once we reach the whale feeding site, we stay for 1 – 1,5 hours.
The catamaran has comfortable seating inside for 145 guests as well as spacious decks outside on two levels for excellent viewing and photo opportunities. There is a kiosk on board to purchase hot expedition meals, snacks and cold drinks.
Please note that whale sightings cannot be guaranteed, as a consequence of weather conditions and whales’ natural behavior. The arctic weather forces are an unpredictable force that can change quickly, and wild animal behaviors is affected by weather, food recourses, temperature and undiscovered causes. Due to these changes the tour can be amended at short notice. This can make the route, duration and destinations different from day to day. However, if the whales do not come as early as we expect or leave earlier than expected, you can still enjoy the fjord cruise.

Keep in mind that the weather in the arctic can be rough some days. If you think you might get seasick, please bring sea-sickness medicine with you and take it half an hour before the trip starts.
